Sarah Ann Marze

Hello there!

I'm Sarah, a composer, soprano and conductor.

I recently graduated with my Bachelor of Music in Composition and Voice from the University of Connecticut as an Honors Scholar. My Honors Thesis was titled, "A Composer's Perspective on the Clarinet Concerto."

I recently workshopped a premiere of a choral piece in response to the mental health crisis with a "patchwork" text fashioned from writings by the UConn Concert Choir, called "What I Needed to Hear."

In June, I attended the 2023 SongFest program at Vanderbilt University, where a duo of my songs was premiered. I gave the UK premiere at the Composers Platform Concert in October at the Royal Academy of Music.

Lately, I've been settling into my new life in London, UK.
