Soprano
Music started for me in first grade, when I started singing with the Connecticut Children's Chorus through the Hartt School of Music. Since fourth grade, I haven't stopped taking voice lessons, and I plan on continuing to sing whenever possible!
I was a shy and quiet kid, and I credit singing with breaking me out of my shell!
Vivaldi's Gloria
I performed as a soprano soloist with the UConn Festival Choir's performance of Vivaldi's Gloria.
Operation Opera: Art Song Division
In early June, I hopped on a flight to Spokane, Washington to a new music workshop run by my favorite Four Corners Ensemble. There, I met a whole host of inspiring musicians and composers -- all with a passion for vocal music. It made me so hopeful for the future of contemporary music!
I was asked to jump in at the last moment to sing part of Del'Shawn Taylor's new "Dark Nursery Rhymes" song cycle. It was such fun to sing!
Sophomore Recital
A half-hour selection of art songs, which was performed as part of an Honors Program course conversion project.
Junior Recital
The last song on my Junior Recital (the vocal half, that is).
From my song cycle, "In Stitches."
